Bone Health Resistance Exercise Class

Healthy bones lays the foundation for a healthy life. Your muscles grow stronger when anchored to strong bones. Your balance is stable. Your safety and freedom in life are all shown to improve with stronger and healthier bones.

Research shows that resistance exercises (using weights, resistance bands and more) combined with medication is more effective for improving bone density than medication alone. Exercise forms an important component to maintain bone health and prevent osteoporosis.

You will learn comprehensive exercises for the upper body, lower body, and spine using free weights, resistance bands and weight machines.

This class is particularly good for individuals predisposed to osteoporosis, whether its genetic, dietary limitation, cancer treatment, or other conditions. The exercises are designed to be beneficial while minimizing risk and strain for your body.
